Broken Top Hike: 9 a.m. Mon.-Thurs. –1.8 miles, 2 hours
Hike over, under and around a volcano on this fascinating hike.Bring sturdy boots, water, a flashlight, and a cave permit. Meet at the Tree Molds parking lot.
Cave Walks: 9 a.m. Fri.-Sun.; 1 &4 p.m. Daily –1 mile,1.5 hours
Follow the trail through seas of ropy lava into the strange underground world of a lava tube. Wear sturdy shoe, bring a flashlight, and a cave permit. Meet at the Caves Area trailhead.
Patio Talks: 11 a.m. Fri-Sun.; 2:30 &4:30 p.m. Daily –15 minutes
Enjoy a short presentation about the natural or cultural history of Craters of the Moon. Check the visitor center for daily topics. Meet at the Visitor Center plaza.
Evening Program: 7 p.m. Nightly–30 minutes
Rangers present different programs at the amphitheater, with topics ranging from volcanoes to history.
Junior Rangers: 7:45 p.m. Nightly –30 minutes
Learn to be a Ranger! Fun activities for kids of all ages. Parents are welcome, too. Meet at the campground amphitheater.
