Winter Road Closures Due to Snow Still in Effect.
The Rim Drives around Crater Lake and the North Entrance Road were buried under 31' of snow last winter and are still closed due to that snow. The park's Road Crew is in the process of plowing these roads open. For more information, More »

Fee-free days for 2012 will be: January 14-16 (Martin Luther King Jr Weekend), April 21-29 (National Park Week), June 9 (Get Outdoors Day), September 29 (National Public Lands Day) and November 10-12 (Veterans Day Weekend). Reservations Reservations are strongly recommended for Crater Lake Lodge and Mazama Village Cabins. Half of the campsites at Mazama Campground are on the Xanterra reservation system. Please call at 1-888-774-2728 or go on-line.Lost Creek Campground is not on the Reserve America reservation system. It is only first-come, first-serve.
Passes Whether you want to visit Crater Lake National Park many times in one year, or you're looking to take a grand tour of many of America's National Parks, there is a pass for you. Each of the passes below is sold at the park's entrance booths as well as the visitor centers.
NPS Crater Lake Pass
NPS Annual Interagency Pass America the Beautiful Annual Interagency Pass Available for purchase by anyone 16 years and older. Good for one year at Federal recreation sites where entrance or standard amenity fees are charged. Also available on-line. Cost $80.
Annual Military Pass NPS America the Beautiful Annual Military Pass Available for free for any active duty service men and women - Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and activated National Guard and Reserves -- and their dependents. Good for 12 months at federal recreation sites where entrance or standard amenity fees are charged.
