Procedure

"Meet me at the Cowpens!" Everyone knew the location of the cattle grazing area known as the Cow Pens. Primary students can learn about some characteristics of animals that make them alike and different from other animals. Using picture cards, students learn correct terms for adult, male, female, and young animals, and compare them to terms used for humans. The cards along with the information sheet can also be used to sort animals with or without horns.
