Superintendent Kym A. Hall and members of Thunder Mountain Trekkers

Coronado National Memorial would like to express appreciation to Thunder Mountain Trekkers for their donation, which will be used to enhance our environmental and cultural education program.

Each year, the Memorial hosts nearly 500 local school children from throughout Cochise County to teach them the significance of Francisco Và squez de Coronado and to understand the lasting impact on our culture as evidenced in the southwest today.

Did You Know?
Coronado Cave, located in Coronado National Memorial, has numerous scalloped and tilted limestone bedding planes. Geologists examining these scallops estimate that at one time as much as 50,000 gallons of water per minute flowed through the cave from east to west.
