Interpretive Program Schedule- We are offering a variety of new and exciting Ranger guided programs!
2009 Fall Lecture Series- Learn about the exciting research taking place at Congaree National Park! Speakers will present audiovisual presentations and you will have an opportunity to ask questions, and request additional information. No technical or science background necessary! The lectures will take place from 7:00-8:00 pm Wednesday evenings, at the Harry Hampton Visitor Center and are free! The next lecture series will be Wednesday December 2, 2009 Geology and Geomorphology in Congaree National Park presented by Davis C. Shelley, Congaree National Park. In 2003, Congaree became the first and only national park in South Carolina. Until then, it was known as Congaree Swamp National Monument.
