  • Trail Conditions

    Trails have been adversely impacted by an active flood season and winter ice storms. They are littered with debris and many markers are missing. All hikers should use a compass and map when hiking in the park. A trail marking project is underway. More »

  • Paddling Conditions

    Numerous portages exist along Cedar Creek. Please plan accordingly when preparing to paddle in the park and be sure you are prepared for a safe trip.

Meet at the parking area near the Hwy 601 Bridge and Congaree River. Co-sponsored by the Friends of Congaree Swamp, Trader Joe's, and American Rivers. Trader Joe's has generously donated water and snacks for participants.  American Rivers will provide trash bags.  The park and Friends of Congaree Swamp will provide trash grabbers and staffing support.  Help us clean up the end of the Congaree River Blue Trail!  Call Volunteer Coordinator Corinne Fenner, 803-647-3964, to register.
