File types defined through this administrative option determine which types are available to contributors uploading files, and which types become available for personalized file management through My Content - My Uploaded Documents.

Expand Content Creation in the left panel of the Site Administration Dashboard, and click Uploaded Content Formats to add or modify settings for your site's allowable file formats.

The Uploaded Content Formats dialog, as shown below, displays file formats currently allowed at your site and is initially prepopulated with popular standard file formats. You can add or remove file types from this list at any time.

Click to sort by name, file type extension, MIME type, file size limitations, type category (Multimedia, Uploaded Document, or Image), or whether the file type is indexable for retrieval in full-text searches. Set these attributes in the Add or Edit Uploaded Content Format dialog.

Click this option to display a table of all fields within the current report, then select the fields whose values you want to export and save in spreadsheet or CSV format. Selected fields automatically display as column heads in the CSV output. You also have the option to change column names on the fly to customize your reports.
