Use the Search Collections dialog to assign an existing collection to a subsite. Access this dialog by expanding Properties in the left pane and click Search. This dialog displays a list of search collections already created for your site. Note that options here are limited to those available on the current server through the root subsite.
Pick from the dropdown to select a search collection. Optionally, select Apply change to child subsites to include them in the search collection.
Click OK to save and return or Cancel to exit without adding a search collection.
