Modification #4 Solicitation of a Prospectus to operate a full service marina at Katherine Landing on Lake Mohave within within Lake Mead National Recreation Area

The NPS has issued the Prospectus beginning Thursday, March 27, 2014, under the terms described in the Prospectus. The existing Concession Contract between the NPS and the existing Concessioner expires on December 31, 2014. The Director, pursuant to 36 C.F.R. Part 51, has determined that the existing Concessioner is NOT a preferred Offeror for the Contract to be awarded. The term of the new Concession Contract will be for fifteen (15) years. Any proposal, including that of the existing concessioner, must be received by 4:00 p.m. (PT) July 8, 2014. Please send proposals to:

There is a printing cost recovery charge of $50 per copy to be delivered via Federal Express or $40 if picked up in person. Checks or money orders (no cash or credit cards) must be payable to the National Park Service. You must include a business address (no post office box) to receive a Federal Express package. If you have obtained your Prospectus from the website, please advise Kimberley Gagliolo, of your contact information in order to receive future responses to questions or amendments to the Prospectus. Those requesting hard copy or who have been placed on the mailing list will be provided with any additional information specific to the Prospectus in writing.

A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, 2014. If you would like to participate in this site visit, you must RSVP to Kimberley Gagliolo for additional information regarding the time and location of the site visit and to reserve a spot. Potential Offerors are encouraged to visit the concession operation and facilities, however the NPS will perform only one site visit on the date identified above. Finally, all questions must be submitted in writing, via email to Kimberley Gagliolo, no later than April 2, 2014.
