Jackson, Thomas J.
- Bio:
- In 1861, Jackson was commissioned a colonel in the Virginia forces and dispatched to Harpers Ferry where he organized the raw recruits. In June 1861, he was promoted to brigadier general, assigned to the Army of the Shenandoah.
