Traveling Trunks

Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site offers a 1950s Traveling Trunk loan program for teachers in Arkansas.

The trunk contains reproduction artifacts from 1950s America and items about the 1957 desegregation crisis as well as books and dvds pertaining to school desegregation and the American Civil Rights Movement.

Classroom sets (up to 25 copies) of Warriors Don't Cry by Little Rock Nine member Melba Pattillo Beals and/or Mapping the Road to Change by the Little Rock Central High School Memory Project are also available to be checked out.
