Things To Do
Fort Christianvaern is itself a large-scale outdoor exhibit. The main structure together with the other historic buildings interpret the height of Danish occupation. You are welcome to tour the Fort with a self-guided brochure. The Steeple Building is also available for viewing.

From 1734 until 1803, Christiansted was an important port on the infamous Triangular Trade, which took trinkets and rum from Europe to Africa, slaves to the Caribbean, and sugar and molasses to New England or Europe.
