Interpretive Programs for the General Public

Throughout the year on weekends and holidays, rangers offer a variety of free public programs at the Robert J. Largomarsino Visitor Center in Ventura. For information about specific program dates please visit Schedule of Events.

In addition, rangers, and volunteer naturalists offer guided hikes throughout the year on the islands. Evening programs are also offered during the summer at Scorpion Ranch campground. For information about specific program dates please visit Schedule of Events.

Visitors and students can also take a virtual visit to the park through live interactive broadcasts and webcams that highlight the remarkable natural and cultural resources of the islands and their surounding waters. Visit Channel Islands Live for more information.

Every month Channel Islands National Park, with support from Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary, sponsors the “From Shore to Sea” lecture series. Please visit "From Shore to Sea" Lecture Series for more information.
