BioBlitz Event October 14 and 15
The Chickasaw National Recreation Area, in conjunction with the Oklahoma Biological Survey will host “BioBlitz! Oklahoma 2011” on October 14 and 15. BioBlitz! is a fun and educational event that invites volunteers to participate in a rapid inventory of biological diversity of Oklahoma’s natural areas. Expert biologists and citizen scientists will count as many species as possible in 24 hours at the national recreation area near Sulphur, Okla.
