11:00am Special Lecture and Presentation:

“Moon Rises at Chimney Rock and Casa Rinconada”

Join Volunteer Ron Sutcliffe for a special presentation in the Visitor Center Theater at 11:00am. Ron specializes in the study of lunar cycles and their relationship to ancestral Puebloan buildings. Join Ron for a talk about the unique building constructions at Chimney Rock and Chaco which coincide with the 18.6 year lunar cycle.

2:00pm Tour of Casa RinconadaJoin Ranger GB Cornucopia and Volunteer Ron Sutcliffe for a special tour of Casa Rinconada. Meet at the Casa Rinconada parking lot at 2:00pm.
