Chaco Culture National Historical Park preserves a major center of ancestral Puebloan culture dating between 850 AD and 1250 AD. The park is remarkable for its monumental architecture, art, astronomy, and agriculture. Chaco Culture National Park is a special place and was designated a World Heritage Site in 1987.
