Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities. The Volunteers in Parks (VIPs) program allows people of all walks of life to lend a hand in helping park staff insure that visitors have a quality experience at Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park. VIPs assist with:

  • Staffing information desk
  • Landscape restoration by removal of invasive plants
  • Maintaining trails
  • Cleaning historic monuments and plaques
  • Litter pick-up
  • Painting historic plaques
  • Living history and interpretive programs
  • General maintenance assistance.
