Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities. The Volunteers in Parks (VIPs) program allows people of all walks of life to lend a hand in helping park staff insure that visitors have a quality experience at Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park. VIPs assist with:

Staffing information desk
Landscape restoration by removal of invasive plants
Maintaining trails
Cleaning historic monuments and plaques
Litter pick-up
Painting historic plaques
Living history and interpretive programs
General maintenance assistance.
