Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park and Outdoor Chattanooga Partner to Provide Orchard Knob Bicycle Tour
Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park and Outdoor Chattanooga are partnering in order to provide visitors a unique opportunity to explore Orchard Knob and the surrounding community by bicycle on May 16. This two hour bicycle tour will begin at Orchard Knob Elementary School (2000 East 3rd Street, Chattanooga, TN 37421) at 9:30 am. Participants will then bike to Orchard knob Reservation, through the surrounding neighborhood, and end at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.The overall ride length for this tour is approximately 2.5 miles on flat to moderately-hilly terrain.

Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park and Outdoor Chattanooga Provide Bicycle Rides and Hikes at Moccasin Bend National Archeological District – May & June 2015
Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park and Outdoor Chattanooga have extended their partnership to include free monthly guided bicycle rides/hikes at Moccasin Bend National Archeological District. The monthly bike rides/hikes for May and June will take place on Saturday, May 9 and Saturday, June 13 and will begin at 9 am.

Catoosa County Schools Receive Transportation Funding to visit the Park
Eastern National Bookstore, a partner of the National Park Service, presented a check to the Catoosa County Public Schools on Monday, March 23, 2015, that will assist schools with transportation costs for students to visit Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park.

Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park is advising the public that the actual road closures for this project will begin February 17, 2015 and continue through June 2015.
