Bluff Trail Closed on Lookout Mountain Battlefield

Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park is advising a portion of the Bluff Trail will be closed effective February 10, 2014 and will remain closed until further notice. The section of trail that is closed is south of the Cravens House trail and north of Sunset Rock. Chickamauga and Chattanooga NMP is reviewing possible repair options but has not decided on a course of action at this time. 

The Bluff Trail is located on the west side of Lookout Mountain, and traverses the mountain side north and south starting near Point Park at the intersection of Cravens House trail and Mountain Beautiful trail and ending at the Ochs Gateway trail junction. Visitors parking at the Cravens House will still be able to hike to Point Park.
