Directions
From I-285 East
- Take exit 25, Roswell Road.
- Left, travel 7 miles, cross the river to the intersection of Roswell Road and Riverside Road.
- Right onto Riverside, cross Vickery Creek and make an immediate left for the unit.
From I-285 West
- Take exit 25, Roswell Road.
- Right, travel 7 miles, cross the river to the intersection of Roswell Road and Riverside Road.
- Right onto Riverside, cross Vickery Creek and make an immediate left for the unit.
From GA 400 North
- Take exit 6, Northridge Road.
- Right onto Northridge and go to the Roswell Road intersection.
- Right; travel 2 miles to the intersection of Roswell Road and Riverside Road.
- Right onto Riverside, cross Vickery Creek and make an immediate left to the unit.
From GA 400 South
- Take exit 6, Northridge Road.
- Left onto Northridge and go to the Roswell Road intersection.
- Right; travel 2 miles to the intersection of Roswell Road and Riverside Road.
- Right onto Riverside, cross Vickery Creek and make an immediate left to the unit.
Activities
Vickery Creek contains several miles of trails that connect to a City of Roswell park. There are a few picnic tables alongside the creek as well as some semi-strenuous cliff sides. Use caution when climbing on the rocks. To download a printable map of Vickery Creek (Requires Adobe Reader.)
History
The ruins of a 19th century mill can be found along the creek as well as the mill managers house at Allenbrook which still stands today.
