Persons 16 years old and older are invited to join the National Park Service for a celebration of the beginning of Earth Week with a workshop on frogs of the Chattahoochee River Corridor in Metro-Atlanta. We will discuss the different frogs, their appearance, habits and habitat, calls, and when to listen for them. Participants will be provided with journals, frog identification information, and more. Learn how to join in national and state frog monitoring programs and become one of the growing numbers of important citizen science volunteers. This workshop is free, but registration is required.
Dress for the weather, casual and informal. Don't forget your pen and notebook and field guides if you like.
