Our trail will take us past beautiful wildflowers, ferns, and native shrubs. Discover fascinating facts and a fable or two about American Indian and early settler uses of plants for food, medicine, and dye. This area is an excellent site to observe wildlife and wildlife sign. This loop trail can be accessed anytime from the main entrance of the Jones Bridge unit.

Dress for the weather; wear comfortable outdoor clothes and sturdy shoes or hiking boots. Bring a day pack with your camera, binoculars, hand lens, notebook and pencil, and a snack. Don't forget your drinking water, insect repellent, and sunscreen!

Note: The $3 Daily Park Pass is not required for vehicles displaying a current Annual Park Pass or an America the Beautiful Pass!
