Join park ranger Jerry Hightower for a walk back in time and stroll from the historic Roswell Mill building past the brick machine shop and along Vickery Creek. Learn the stories behind the old stone walls and rusted remnants of this once bustling industrial area. Become acquainted with many of the plants along the easy path that were used by the first inhabitants and settlers for food, medicine, and dye. There may be a fable or two mixed in with the many fascinating facts, this is an easy and enjoyable ways to gain a better understanding of this small part of the Chattahoochee watershed's rich and diverse history.

Dress for the weather; wear comfortable outdoor clothes and shoes suitable for walking on a forest trail. Don't forget drinking water, insect repellent, sunscreen, binoculars, magnifying glass, camera, notebook, and pencil!
