It seems like just yesterday that you were celebrating the end of another school year. It's not long until your back in school writing about your summer vacation. Join us for one last chance to learn to fish and get some great material for your tale!
Tom and Huck didn't use fancy fishing gear on the Mississippi nor wil we at the old fishing hole. After trimming the leaves off a piece of river cane we'll tie some line to one end. Then with a keen eye we'll thread the line through a cork bobber and tie on a fishing hook. All that's left to do is bait the hook, swing it out into the water, and wait for the fish to start biting. You may hook a catfish, bream, or bass. We are not responsible for any tall tales Don't forget to take a break from the fishing to learn about a healthy aquatic environment.
Make sure you dress for the weather wear warm comfortable outdoor clothes in layers. Don't forget to bring some insecet repellent, sun screen, and a camera to take a picture of your throphy catch.
Note: The $3 Daily Park Pass is not required for vehicles displaying a current Annual Park Pass or an America the Beautiful Pass!
Reservations are required; please call 678-538-1200 to make your reservation, space is limited!
