The Sope Creek parking lot of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area will be closed for pavement repairs beginning July 27, 2009 through August 21, 2009. The large sinkhole in the parking lot will be repaired in addition to seal coating and restriping the lot. Closures are scheduled for weekdays which will allow for full use of the park on the weekends. Below is the schedule of work and closed periods.

Saw Cut Asphalt Repair Areas	July 30-31
Remove Asphalt in Repair Area	August 3
Replace Curb and Gutter	August 3-5
Asphalt Patch in Repair Areas	August 6-7
Crack Seal - Lot Closed	August 10
Seal Coat - Lot Closed	August 11-12
Re-Stripe Areas - Lot Closed	August 14
Final Clean-up	August 17
Punchlist	August 18-19
Project Closeout	August 20-21
