  • Alcohol Ban for Visitor Safety

    From June 1 through August 31, the consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages without a permit is prohibited. During Music Under the Stars concerts, alcohol may be purchased within the memorial boundary. More »

  • Trail Improvements Begin July 2014

    From July 8 through September 30, 2014 crews will resurface sections of the park's walking trail and install new drainage culverts. Sections of trail will be temporarily closed. For your safety, please obey all closure signs. More »

  • Construction Activity Near E Paisano Drive and S San Marcial Street

    If entering the park from E Paisano Drive and S Marcial Street please be extra cautious. Pay close attention to the temporary road signs during the ongoing construction activity there.

Be Our Friend and Join Los Paisanos de El Chamizal
Los Paisanos de El Chamizal is the memorial's Friends Group. The organization and its members work to support the educational mandate of the Chamizal National Memorial. As the memorial's sole advocacy group, members provide support through hosting high profile community events and gallery receptions, fundraising projects, and participating in long range planning for the memorial. Los Paisanos also provide invaluable support by volunteering during park sponsored events.

Los Paisanos de El Chamizal es el Grupo de amigos del monumento. La organización y sus miembros trabajan para paoyar el mandato educativo del Chamizal National Memorial.
