Opening November 13th !

The National Park Service is proud to present New Impressions of National Parks of the Southwest, the newest exhibition by The Classical Impressionists of El Paso. 

This talented group of artists include David Fickett, Nina Cobb Walker, Neil Gunn, Richelle Moore, Lynne Welch, and Carmen "Kany" Rodriguez.

The Southwestern parks beautifully captured in this show are all within a day's drive of El Paso. Featured parks include Chamizal, Big Bend, Guadalupe Mts., White Sands, Gila Cliff Dwellings, Saguaro, Fort Bowie, Fort Davis, Grand Canyon, Chiricahua, and others.  

The opening reception will be Thursday November 13th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm with special guests Aleksander and Lyuba Titovets.

The exhibition will run through January 17, 2009.

Ambassadors Mann (U.S.) and Tello (Mexico)  

Did You Know?
The two official signatures on the Chamizal Convention of 1963 are not those of the President of the United States and Mexico, but of Ambassador Thomas Mann of the U. S. and Ambassador Manual Tello of Mexico.
