This exhibit features the works of three differently-abled artists whose unique gifts and artistic abilities have given them freedom from what some may perceive as limitations. Artistic media include water color, carving, colored pencil, wood block stamp, mixed media, and more. We invite you to come share and experience their unique perspectives of the world and see how their art has truly liberated them.

During the talks that led up to the Chamizal Convention, instead of rendering handshakes, both Presidents Kennedy and Johnson were encouraged to greet their Mexican counterparts with an Abrazo – a customary embrace that is still widely practiced in the Southwest.
