Border Tapestry

Explore the interweaving of Mexican and American cultures and their perpetual evolution along our unique border region. Using a mixture of media, the Border Artists and Juntos Art Association team up for the first time with this colorful exhibition.

In conjunction with these professional artists, El Paso and Las Cruces area high school students will be displaying their work in the Abrazos and Borderlands Galleries.

Reception with artists: October 13th, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm

Guest Speaker Panel: October 20th, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, featuring Christian Gerstheimer, El Paso Art Museum Curator; Dr. Yolanda Leyva, Head of UTEP History Dept; and Elizabeth Zuhar, NMSU Art History Professor

Artist Presentations: October 27, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm

Exhibit open October 13 - November 30

Gallery open Monday through Friday from 10am - 5pm, and weekends by request.
