William Floyd House: Floyd, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, occupied this Georgian house from 1803 until his death in 1821. Floyd was a wealthy landowner before the revolution and became a New York delegate to the Continental Congress. This frame house was built by Floyd when he relocated from Long Island to Western New York at the age
of 69. Little altered since its 1803-04 construction, it remains in private ownership today.
