Chesapeake Bay Gateways Network
Volunteer

The Chesapeake Bay Gateways and Watertrails Network is your best source for finding places and projects that suit your interests. More than 160 sites across the watershed provide a great diversity of Chesapeake experiences. All of the museums, parks, wildlife refuges, water and land trails, and other places that make up the Network rely on volunteer help to maintain and restore the natural, cultural, and recreational resources in their care.

Both the Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trail and the Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Trail are being developed in coordination with the Chesapeake Bay Gateways and Watertrails Network.

Learn about the diversity of places that are part of the Network. You’ll find links to sites throughout the Chesapeake Bay watershed where your help is needed.
