The visitor center contains a small exhibit area with information about past area industries, the development of the park, and a collection of preserved local wildlife. Eastern National provides a small bookstore for your interest. Restrooms and a small auditorium for programs are also available. Phone (301) 663-9388. Visitor Center Hours. Did You Know?
After camping in Misty Mount for 1 season (1937), the Maryland League for Crippled Children moved to Camp Greentop, one of the earliest camps in the nation designed specifically for people with disabilities. Renamed The League for People with Disabilities they continue to camp in Greentop today.
