  • Haulover Canal Bridge Closure

    The Haulover Canal Bridge will be closed for construction beginning May 6, 2013. The bridge will be closed to all traffic for about 7 weeks. Access to the facilities on the north and south sides of the bridge will be open and unaffected.

"RIGHT WHALE WATCH"   From December to March female Northern Right Whales come to the shores off Canaveral to have their calves and rest until they make their way back north to the feeding grounds of the Northern Atlantic.   We'll meet at the Visitor Center for a video overview of Canaveral National Seashore. Then we'll gather by the ocean to try to catch a glimpse of a right whale and for an informative talk about these fascinating mammals.  Bring binoculars if you have them.  (1 hour)
