There is no fee to visit Cape Henry.  The Cape Henry Memorial site is unattended by National Park Service personnel, and there are no facilities or services available.

Although John Smith was named as a Council member by the Virginia Company of London, he was not allowed to serve in that capacity at first because he had been accused of mutiny. Eventually, Smith became Jamestown’s third president of the Council.
