Second Saturday Family and Scout Events
The Harkers Island Visitor Center will be open 7 days per week starting February 15, 2014. Weekend Ranger programs and events at the Harkers Island Visitor Center are scheduled to resume in March.
Join Rangers at the Harkers Island Visitor Center for an exploration of the nature and history of Cape Lookout and learn some of the fun things families can do in the park. All programs (except Critters of the Night) start at 1:00 PM.
Many of these activities count towards Boy Scout and Girl Scout merit badges and all programs can be credited towards a Scout Ranger certificate or patch.
