The National Park Service and the are working together to apprehend and arrest suspect(s) involved in crimes within Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Fort Raleigh National Historic Site, and Wright Brothers National Memorial.
The National Park Service has been a member of the Dare Community Crime Line along with other law enforcement agencies within the county for a number of years. The National Park Service/Dare Community Crime Line partnership covers the three parks, including the all of Cape Hatteras National Seashore--Bodie Island and Hatteras Island, which are in Dare County; and Ocracoke Island, which is in Hyde County. Fort Raleigh NHS and Wright Brothers NMEM are also in Dare County.
The Dare Community Crime Line will pay up to $1,000.00 for information leading to the apprehension and arrests of suspect(s) involved in criminal activities. All information given is confidential. To report violations call 252-473-3111 or 1-800-745-2746.
