Hours of Operation

Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham is open daily from 9 AM to 4:30 PM (5 PM in summer). It is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Province Lands Visitor Center in Provincetown is open daily, May 1 through October 31, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Parking lots are open from 6 AM to midnight daily.

Seashore headquarters in Wellfleet (business offices only) is open Mondays through Fridays, excluding holidays, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM

Beaches, walking trails, biking trails, and roads remain open throughout the year, but may experience brief closures due to winter weather.
Highland Light  

Did You Know?
The original Highland Light was built in 1797, becoming the first lighthouse on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. It had 24 whale oil lamps set in 2 circles, one on top of the other with the reflector behind.
