Cape Cod National Seashore Employee Association Sponsors Blood Drive

The Cape Cod National Seashore Employee Association is sponsoring a blood drive on Thursday, July 17, 2008, from 10 AM to 3 PM at park headquarters located at 99 Marconi Site Road, Wellfleet, Massachusetts. 

Donors can walk-in or call ahead to reserve an appointment.  Advance appointments for the blood drive held at Cape Cod National Seashore can be made by calling Cape Cod Hospital (508) 862-5273 between 8 AM and 4 PM, Monday to Friday.   

The mission of Employee Association at Cape Cod National Seashore is to foster the spirit of fellowship, while encouraging high morale, among all employees and volunteers at Cape Cod National Seashore.  According to Rainie Brownell, Treasurer of the Association, “We had the idea and management enthusiastically supported our request to use the facilities at Cape Cod National Seashore to sponsor this community service activity.” 

Cape Cod Hospital Blood Bank is always appreciative of people kind enough to donate blood.  There is often a critical shortage and without donations they would be unable to serve patients who are in need of blood.
