"The climate is constantly changing. It's a matter of perspective," says NECN Weatherman Tim Kelley, who will be presenting a program on Cape Cod's weather on Tuesday, July 12 at 7:00 PM at Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham. The program is free, accessible, and sponsored by Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore.

Tim Kelley has been a meteorologist with New England Cable News since the station's launch in 1992.A Cape Cod native, Kelley enjoys working with educators to incorporate the science of meteorology into school curriculum. Kelley's enthusiasm is reflected in his passion for his work, science, weather, and Cape Cod itself. His keen intuition and strong grasp of diverse meteorological tools have translated over the years into the delivery of consistently accurate weathercasts. Tim's presentation will focus on our planet's ever-changing weather and weather patterns, as well as the formation of Cape Cod and its natural evolution.

This program is one in a series offered every Tuesday evening in July and August at Salt Pond. All of the programs are sponsored by Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore, which raises awareness of national seashore resources and issues; provides funds for important park projects; sponsors interpretive and educational programs that advance the understanding of park stories and resources; and carries out significant volunteer work, especially in the area of trail maintenance.
