Joyce Zavorskas is January's featured artist in Cape Cod National Seashore’s Perspective Series, exhibiting the work of artists who have captured the essence of Cape Cod. On Saturday, January 18 at 2:00 PM at the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham, Ms. Zavorskas will present a short illustrated program about her exhibition, Documenting the Familiar, which is on display. Her recent panoramic landscape paintings and monotypes document the constantly-changing coastal environment. The presentation will examine the influences and process for this artwork created on location in the national seashore, through artist’s residencies, and at her home studio. Light refreshments will be served following the presentation.
