Join Neal Nichols for a free, one-hour, interactive, geography program at 7 PM on Tuesday, August 13 at Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham.Since 1992, this Wellfleet-born artist has been sharing his passion for maps, and impressive memory for drawing them, with audiences. The "Geography Gameshow" is an event that features the rendering of a map from memory through which the audience interacts and participates by identifying specific locations throughout the program.

It is Nichols' hope that all will walk away from his programs with a better understanding of the world in which we live. Nichols has presented his "Geography Gameshow" in several U.S. states, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Ireland, Australia, Malaysia, Japan, South Africa, England, and even Zambia.

This upcoming program is part of the annual "Tuesday Evening Series" at Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham. Held weekly at 7 PM in July and August in the air-cooled comfort of the visitor center auditorium, programs focus on the diverse natural and cultural resources on the Outer Cape and are suitable for all ages. Programs are free of charge and accessible. The series is funded by the Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore.

IF YOU GO: Salt Pond Visitor Center is located at the intersection of Route 6 and Nauset Road in Eastham, and can be contacted by calling 508-255-3421.
