Fees & Reservations

Castle Clinton National Monument does not charge an admission fee.

Reservations are required for groups of 10 or more. Please call (212) 344-7220 and speak with a Ranger to book a group visit. A two-week advance notice is necessary. Voice mail messages cannot be used for confirmation.

There is a fee for the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Please contact Statue Cruises at 1-877-LADY TIX (1-877-523-9849).

Although built to protect New York Harbor, Castle Clinton never fired a shot for defense. The cannons at the battery were only fired in training and celebration.
