Water. Water is the key to all of the natural features found within the Buffalo National River. From its beginning as a drop of rain until the time the water flows from the mouth of the Buffalo River, water hydrates, cuts, creates, moves, and maintains the natural wonders that makes the Buffalo National River one of the nation's greatest natural resources.

Did You Know?

Cabin 2, constructed by the CCC in the 1930s, is available for rental through the park concessioner.

Did you know that Buffalo National River has housekeeping cabins that were constructed in the late 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps? These rustic cabins are available for lodging at Buffalo Point.
