CONCESSIONS/ BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:

The Concessions group in the Ed & VS Team provides support for the entire Northeast Region as the office of the Senior Specialist. The Boston and Philadelphia concessions offices are closely coordinated. Strong emphases upon feasibility, financial analyses, operational reviews and direct negotiations result in clearly defined, readily managed and binding contractual agreements that are custom designed for the needs of the parks .

The Concessionaires in the Region provide visitor services ranging from lodging facilities, large and small scale ferry services, restaurants, snack bars, marinas tour boat services, golf and tennis facilities, tour buses saddle horse rentals commercial campgrounds and conference facilities. The majority of these concessions are large, complex and in the process of extensive change and development. It is the role of this office to work with Park Managers to on all aspects of concession management, including complex and changing legal requirements contract negotiations and entrepreneurial opportunities for existing and new business development through creative approaches.
