Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area relies on the official Web site of the Boston Harbor Islands Partnership to provide travelers with information on visiting the Boston Harbor Islands. The Web site, BostonHarborIslands.org, is maintained cooperatively by National Park Service and Boston Harbor Island Alliance, both members of the Partnership.
Traveler Information System: National Parks of Massachusetts
The National Parks of Massachusetts commissioned a study to analyze new ways to facilitate visitation to the through improved provision of traveler information. The report explores potential improvements to several elements of the parks' regional traveler information system (TIS), including a nation-wide visitor-oriented Web site. The report also identifies options for providing visitor orientation through a centralized transportation hub in Boston.
