Blue Ridge National Heritage Area

The Blue Ridge National Heritage Area is located in the heart of the southeastern United States, within a few hours’ drive of Atlanta, Nashville, Charleston, Charlotte, and Raleigh.  Asheville is the largest city in the North Carolina mountains and is served by the Asheville Regional Airport.

Did You Know?
The deepest gorge in the Eastern United States - Linville Gorge - is located in a Wilderness Area within the Pisgah National Forest in the North Carolina mountains. It is part of the Blue Ridge National Heritage Area.
