Hunter harvest cards must be returned to Big Thicket National Preserve by April 1, 2013. Hunters who do not return their cards by this date will not be issued a hunting permit for the 2013 hunting season. More »

The Big Thicket National Preserve bookstore, located in the visitor center, carries a wide selection of publications, DVDs, souvenirs, and Junior Ranger items. These items are made available through the Western National Parks Association, a non-profit cooperating association based in Arizona. Items purchased at our bookstore ultimately benefit the Preserve and our visitors. A percentage of all sales comes back to the Preserve so that we can further assist our visitors through publications development and other services.
