Birders of all skill levels are invited to participate in this bird count in Tyler and Jasper Counties. This bird count includes the Beech Creek Unit of the Preserve, as well as Steinhagen Lake and Martin Dies, Jr., State Park. Meet at 6:30 am at the Corps of Engineers Picnic Area on FM 92 immediately north of the intersection with FM 1746 in Town Bluff. Bring binoculars, a bird guide, water, and lunch.
