Join water beetle researcher Edward Realzola on a short hike to Collins Pond, near the start of the Woodlands Trail, to look for whirligig beetles and other aquatic life. Meet at the Woodlands Trailhead on FM 1276, 5.9 miles north of Dallardsville and 3.3 miles south of US 190. Wear clothes and shoes that can get wet and muddy.
