Outdoor Activities

There is plenty to do in the summer at Big Hole. You can walk on our trails by yourself or with a Ranger. You can learn how to put up or take down a tipi. You can listen to a Ranger led program on our viewing deck.

10:00 am Help the park staff set up our tipi

10:30 am Ranger led walking tour of the Siege area of the battlefield

12:30 pm Deck talk

2:00 pm Deck talk

4:00 pm Help the park staff take down our tipi for the night
