There are observation deck programs available upon request and providing that we have enough staff. Guided tours are no longer provided for 2012 without a reservation.

Bear Paw Trail in winter

Trails at Bear Paw Battlefield display metal stakes that mark important tipi, shelter pit, and rifle pit sites. These sites from the battle were designated by Nez Perce warriors who fought in 1877 and returned over 50 years later to preserve their history.
